    Question?

    What’s black on black?

I’ll be a able to tell you how beautiful the PowerBox Core is Monday as I purchased mine recently from Thunderbolt RC!

Supporting Thunderbolt RC that’s my kind of store!

    Re: Powerbox core radio!

I received my parcel with the Powerbox Core radio, Tuesday afternoon. Was I excited, yes, beautiful? Yes sir!

If you are interested to read more about my comments, I would first like to mention that these are my personal thoughts on this radio and I am writing this to inform someone who might go down the path I did. As one who has never had the pleasure to see the Powerbox Core radio in person, hold it in my hands or even to try it, I took a risk! I'm sure Jeff from Thunderbolt RC would not be impressed, if I changed my mind and asked to return it. So was the risk worth taking? First off, it's not gong back to Thunderbolt RC if that tells you something really really positive about the Powerbox Core!

I knew from my experience with my previous Jeti duplex radio that this radio was going to be somewhat different as it has a touch screen as the interface for accessing all the settings. There's no 3D Control Selector or buttons as was found on my Jeti duplex radio. The Powerbox Core start up is also somewhat different as you need to press on the power button, let go and then press again briefly to turn it on. On the Jeti, pressing and holding the power button, green led turns ON, then press the F5 button to confirm.

Unfortunately the Core did not come with a touch screen stylus pen which I believe should have been included. Luckily I have a few and instantly used one as this is the best way to scroll through the screens and to have easy access to all areas. You can use your fingers but I choose not to.

That's all for now and if you would like to know more about this radio please let me know and I will keep posting my thoughts. I have lots to discover and I am quite pleased, the risk was well worth taking!

The Powerbox Core, in my opinion, is a continuation of the enhancements in radio control technology. Both Jeti and Powerbox are great systems! To keep this short I'm really happy that I had the pleasure of using the Jeti Duplex and now with the Powerbox Core.
