Not for me but for a good friend.
I have a EME 60 running on a can, with a wood 24x8 I get 6700 RPM.
My friend has the same motor but had a little meeting with mother earth. Not that hard thou. Not a true spinner dip. He has cleaned it up, rebuilt the carb. The motor has a pitts muffer. It runs well but with a wood 23x8 he only gets 6300 RPM. Idles great at 1800. He told me before the crash it did a little over 7000. Also told me leaning it in does nothing. He know his stuff and has other gas engines that all run good. This has us both scratching our heads!
What would cause this?

I would lean towards the carb rebuild messing something up. I spinner dipped my eme 60 twice now still 7k on a 24/8 Cf

Their pretty tough motors. But you never know if something got tweaked. But when a guy trears a carb apart a lot can happen
