Not sure about Hybrids, but I have heard the batteries are torquee when they need to be replaced....almost negates the fuel savings costs.

Thanks.. But been down the truck road before, and aint doing that again.
But since you mentioned diesel.. the other option is VW Jette they are pretty known for their fuel eco.
