Obviously I am doing something wrong with my transmitter as the PB will not learn from it
I had the same issue Dean....It would recognize the stick movement but when I flipped a switch for the gyro mode control it wouldn’t recognize it. I ended up doing my entire mapping manually with the direct technique. Also so far my Mega Turbo Bushmaster is all I’ve setup and it doesn’t have any ganged servos on any of the controls....just lots of funky mixes and so forth. So again being a newbie I setup all my subtrims and end points in the transmitter....🤔

Perhaps I’ll re-do the entire thing...

Hey have you guys done the latest firm ware updates? I just got the PB IOS blue tooth thingy for that...

I have not done any updates, maybe I am assuming wrong but mine came fresh from PB to Jeff when I ordered it so kinda thinking it's pretty up to date.
I bought the USB cable for PC update.

    Question
When I normally set up a servo I increaase the travel from 100 to 125-130 each way to get better resolution, then in the dual rates I set the maximum travel each direction.
Will I be able to do the same here? Set the travel to 125+- in the transmitter and then set the endpoints in the mercury? This would have the best resolution.

Re: Power Box Mercury SRS Set Up Help

So this video answers some of my questions about servo set up. Seems that he sets up first servo in transmitter as desired then matches second. Didn't cover how to properly set up a single servo or elevator servos properly, but helpful none the less.

Re: Power Box Mercury SRS Set Up Help

    Trevor,
So I've set up the tail section completely with the Mercury and it went well. Leaving wings till last. But I did the throttle in the transmitter should that be okay? edit, reason I did throttle in transmitter was I could not get the throttle to intialize which has to be done before you can adjust end point etc

You won’t have any throttle mixes in the different flight modes so doesn’t matter where you setup center and endpoints. Tx is fine

Re: Power Box Mercury SRS Set Up Help

I was setting up my 2nd Mercury in a Jet last night. Again couldn’t get it to detect a channel by moving a switch....tried multiple ways and ensured that the function itself was first assigned in the radio. Then the receiver servo output channel was assigned as well just like you’d normally do....but nothing seemed to work. I then realized that I had the 2 R3’s plugged into the Mercury from the #4 EXT slot INSTEAD of the #3 output....fixed that, did a power down and reboot...and the setup assistant worked perfectly... so who knows 🙂

Re: Power Box Mercury SRS Set Up Help

Any tips and or pics on routing/organizing the ribbon style wires used on the little display and switch? I'm finding them excessively long in this 35%
