Thanks Paul , I need to get some time on the engine before it goes up . Damn snow banks never seem to get any smaller up here .

Thanks Steve, Just a fun scale but it's coming out alright . Once my new Xicoy CG scale comes in I can do the balance . Just hoping the tail is light enough with the ultracote to put the batteries and receiver in the rear hatch . Not sure if aluminum sheet can block 2.4 but I think it would be best to keep my satellites as far away as possible . So much sheeting on this plane I have to be careful not to create a blind spot for the receiver .

I have 4 satellites so I can put one in the pilots head . a couple in the tail and one in the belly of the plane .. I don't know how you guys do it with just 2 little wires sticking out of the receiver .

Yeah Steve but your plane is not 1/2 aluminum sheet LOL. Been doing some reading and and it seems the aluminum can reduce the range if it gets between you and the radio but it would be pretty hard to block the signal altogether , just reduce your range .. I'll put the satellites away from the aluminum just to be safe ..

Roger, the Stearman looks amazing and the engine is a thing of beauty. I can't wait to see some flight videos; FYI there are sod farms just south of Ottawa if you want to maiden here. Just sayin'...

Thanks John I may just do that , few more pictures of the progress, just the small details now . still have to mount the dash panels but I have the wind screens finished , I didn't like the look where the glass joined inside the frames so I made some litho plate flashing . also did some detailing on the tail .
