It works great for that Max! I don't have reverse but wished I did several times. I estimate 2 evenings of time to build one, simpler is better. I have also used this one for fishing, poke the hook in the foam at the back lightly out of reach of the prop, then go to where ever you think the fish might be, give it a quick tug to dislodge the hook and drive the boat back. Voila - longest cast in town!
If you want a real challenge though, two or three airboats and a Styrofoam ball - water polo! It's a lot harder than you think.
Had one of those but it broke!

Boating are not familiar now a days yet its great involvement with these sort of boats. I'm Not Amateur in Boating. Check this one with your pursuit 1/14 Scale Spurt. likewise great in budget.
