My answer from DA.
Hi Rick
Sorry for the late reply. We haven’t had a chance to really try them. KS makes good stuff, but getting good performance with a 2 into 1 system is very difficult. The 2 exhaust pressure charges fight each other as they come together in the can or header. The only time we have seen it work is with the DA70/ "Y" header MTW TD110H combo. So far, no other canister set up comes close. Again, we can't comment too much about the KS 2 into 1 canister until we get some testing in.
Another thing to consider is the spacing between the standard headers would be too wide to match up to the two inlets on the muffler. KS might offer special headers to match up, but if they do, I haven't seen them yet. We only stock the versions for 2 canister systems.
If you give one a try, I would recommend something rated for at least 80cc or larger. The DA70 exhaust outlets are 22 mm dia so the inlets to the canister and the headers should be 22mm.
Let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Dave
Communication, good as it gets!!

Hi Dave,
Your reply was far from late, that was the fastest reply from a manufacture that I have ever had!
I am going to put the headers together myself, I had bought two DA 35 header kits. The exhaust charges are 17mm apart. I planned on adding 8.5mm to the rear cylinder exhaust header (the cylinder closer to the firewall) and shortening the front cylinder exhaust header by 8.5mm. That will let both exhaust charges to enter the can at the same time.
I will order the 90cc size canister from KS. The 90cc size can has 25mm inlets so I have ordered nylon couplers that are 22mm to 25mm.
Hope this works out!
Rick.

Cool. I'm curious to see and hear how this compares to the 2 into 1 header I'm used to. I wonder though about the canister size. You mention getting a 90cc size and that seems a good choice but I've been using MTW110, would that not be a 110cc size? Could the 90 size be too restrictive?
