Thx guys! Ha, yeah... ordering exhaust and wheels this week. So progress will slow down until all that arrives.

You’re right, it’s like building a stearman that needs modified into a sopwith camel. It can be done!... it’s just complicated.

    Craig,

Why would waiting for exhaust and wheels stop you from starting Rudder, stabs & wings? Just Sayin.

Couple updates! First, I got the CF sq tube I needed to make all the fuse gussets! Lots and lots of blade ruining going on!

Re: Carden 124 Pro and 109 "Mini Pro" -Carbon Edition-

I also received the WRE tailwheel assemblies for both planes. Still waiting on main wheels and the headers/exhaust from DA. Both have been ordered and should arrive next week.

So, I got all the CF gussets installed (inside upper and lower) and I installed the tailwheel plate/tailwheel.

All the CF work is now complete on this fuse so Ill quickly be turning to the 109 to get it to the same step!

Re: Carden 124 Pro and 109 "Mini Pro" -Carbon Edition-

The last thing I did was install the cross pieces in the fuse. There were done with tiny CF rod in an X pattern at 3 locations, starting at the rear of the canopy/hatch area and ending in the tail. I also used some thin Kevlar string and tied a small knot where the x crosses, then locked it in place with a drop of thin CA.
