    Just have to ask Joe

I was using that setup at Forest jets. I also have a Secraft pump setup as well, but they are kind of pricey. Never had much luck with the Sullivan pumps either.

You can buy just the pumps from ready-to-use setups. They are made by Greylor and will ship direct to you.

Refueled 4 times at the fun fly today and the pump is great. It is barely working and fills up the larger tank in 1/4 time as compared to Sullivan.

Joe you may want to ensure that you ground the fuel pump. At the high flow rates you may be introducing static electricity into your fuel system.

Thanks Peter, I understand your concern. However, what would I ground? Fuel lines, UAT, tank, everything the fuel comes in contact with is non-conductive.

It is a simple brushed motor so should run in reverse. However, I only have an ON/OFF switch installed.
If it's really important for you, I will try connect reverse battery and report back.

If it is a geared pump it should work....I have a jersey pump that seems to be doing the job just great.
Made up my own system using a few jersey parts stuff that was on sale and saved quite a bit of money.

The only difference is how well isolated& sealed the brushed motor is from any potential gas leak into the motor .. the gear pump it's self would be fine but what if gas fumes get to the brushes , car pumps are submerged in fuel so the mix is to rich to light .. just a thought ..
