    Re: Spektrum ix12

Tested the ix12 Saturday night at indoor. Flew a couple of foamies without issue. I adjusted my throttle tension a bit as it was a little loose for my liking. Changed the voice to a woman's voice to be more inline with my DX18.

Importing models and adding pic of the actual plane was a piece of cake. Spektrum has stated that there are no issues importing models from any 2nd generation radio however, the voice commands (for switch change, etc) do not transfer over when you import models so that needs to be redone. Not a big deal.

Super happy with it so far.

It is, but you don't need a 3/8" chain neck strap and knee braces to hold it!!

Jack you are showing your age if that’s what YOU need to use a JETI Tx.

They are light and thin. I’m m a “Pincher” and I can hold the radio with my thumb and baby finger.
REAL Men DONT need neck straps! I Don’t use one

Hey Jim, we have something in common! I can't get a feel for neck straps...I think I move my radio around while I'm flying, depending on what I'm doing. I fly what I think guys are calling a hybrid pinch, so pinky and ring finger behind the radio, middle finger over the top and thumb and pointer on the stick. My DX9 fit my hands good, so no doubt the ix12 would be a good fit. I'm using an X10s now, which is the best feeling radio I've had in my hands...the X12 was too large and heavy for my liking.

Has Jeti changed? last one I saw was heavier and more awkward than anything else I've handled.

BUT!!! That's Okay I'm sticking with Futaba...I don't fly electrics so I really have no reason for Wrectum either!!

Uuuuummmmmmmmmm........Did anyone actually confirm that there is a TX inside that case? Many have speculated that it is just a hiding place for his bourbon!!

    I don't think that's fair Trev.

Maple Lodge has been trying to pull the wool over our eyes from years...

So what if our engines occasionally 'hammer' away at the air, and have SUPER SLO-MO drag races...at least they're making noise ...!!
