    Pilot Edge rebuild thread

So after pushing my limits a couple spins too many, My Pilot Edge is in need of a rebuild.

    https://youtube.com/watch?v=zAmISdF9iU8

Just front end fuse damage, nothing to the control surfaces.

I took advantage of the Pilot Free wood program. There were a couple pieces missing, but nothing that can’t be fab’d up. Awesome service from Pilot!

Ha! I’m starting to think that was a radio glitch that caused the crash.

    Congrats on the rebuild

    Re: Pilot Edge rebuild thread

Hey Bob. I'm soooo glad to see this plane on its next life. It's definitely the hit of any huckfest type event. Love the pilot wood program. Can't beat it. Good luck on the build

    Thanks
    Mike

It's looking good! Started laying out some new pilot name decals for it last night.

    Re: Pilot Edge rebuild thread

I agree with the radio issues......

No way that vertical landing was caused by anything else!!

Even the caller called the pull out!

I am confused tho....... the signal was fine up high....... maybe that tree got in the way of the signal..??????

Think a new Jeti is in the works???????

    LMAO

    Re: Pilot Edge rebuild thread

    Lol!

I think it was the golden rod that caused the signal failure. It wasn’t long after the plane went in the golden rod, then I lost all control.
