    It's alive---ALIVE!

Got bored waiting for my 26-10 props to arrive , so I drilled one of my unused 18-7 nylon filled props left over from my DLE 35 ra to fit the hub of the BH100 . Mounted on my test stand and fired the 100 for the first time. This thing was dryed out more than the Sahara desert as it took 10 minutes of priming and cranking before it finally started pumping fuel to the carb. Once I had fuel and knew I had spark at both plugs, she started after another half dozen flips. High end and transition are pretty damn good right out of the box ! Extended idle is a little rumpity- rumpity ( uneven up and down) . It's probably gonna even out as I get a few more tanks through it.Havent touch the needles a bit yet.Mixed the first 600 cc really pokey (20-1) ( Chanukah Tire purple Dino piss) The next 600 will get mixed 30-1, transitioning to 32-1 Redline. I've loaded three videos on my iPhone of the initial run ups . Pay special attention to the " specially designed BH spark plugs" ! Gonna load the videos from my iPhone: just for your entertainment.

Crap. It's a no go on the videos. Just remembered---- I don't have a u tube account! Duuhh. I'll try explaining what happened with many words rather than a couple videos! The first run up off 1.5 minutes duration shows the engine running - sort of , right cylinder running warm , left cylinder-- cool, and no smoke, Hmmn ? Remove special spark plug from left cylinder and replace with new NGK cm6. Re- fire , Wah la , we have heat and smoke in left cylinder now . Run some more Hmm, engine still seems to be missing once in a while . Hmm? Replace right hand special spark plug with another new NGK cm6! Retire. Ah ha now we have much more even explosions on both sides. Place both special spark plugs in garbage can, Retire to the house, and have a triple whiskey. Ah yes, life is good!

So, the special plugs were just special ink on white ceramic?

An 18x7 on a 100cc? No wonder you had a triple whiskey after getting the rpm numbers on that!!

Glad to hear it's running good for you....although it could be all hearsay with no videos!!

Ha ha. It could be all BS, but no, it's actually true. This 499 dollar POS actually runs! Pretty amazing I'm thinking cause this engine has been sittingin a box since probably 2013 when BH went broke. My son is going to try and help hook me up with a UTube acct so I can load the videos. Have faith!

No rpm numbers were taken Wingburner . Just set it at about 1/3 throttle and let her churn away. I built a little shroud behind the prop out of thin plywood and that sure made a hell of a difference in the cylinder head temps !

A 18/7 " Nylon " prop on a 100cc motor !!!!! ------ even at 1/3 throttle , I would not stand too close to that thing. Just my 2 cents

I pulled the special BH plugs out if the trash and compared them with an old NGK cm6. Besides the " special BH logo painted on the porcelain of the plug , I noticed that the BH plugs have a much smaller and pointed side and centre electrode than the electrodes of the NGK plugs. I wonder what the science behind that conversion is? Anybody want to elaborate?

There is no science, they were able to get those plugs for less $$ than the NGKs.
