    Delta wings

Still any Delta Wing flyers out there? I have an Extreme Flight Outlaw hanging in the rafters that I need to rebuild the firewall in....had an EVO 35 2st in it and could never get that little bugger to run right in there. Ran great on the test stand but was very temperamental in the airframe.

So long story short, after a hard landing that knocked the firewall out, I gutted the plane and stuck it in the rafters. I would like to resurrect it again but this time I will probably go electric....I think that is just a better way to go with this airframe.......any thoughts?

I guess from the lack of responses that no one flies these anymore....too bad, nice design and did fly well when the Evo kept running

Hey Curt! Put it back in the air. I have a home grown one that needs to be finished. We built 2 a few years back and were going to try combat with them but mine had a bad launch and didn't finish the test flight. The other one flew well. They have an amazing speed envelope. I also have plans for a scale Dyke Delta that I plan to build some time.

I love deltas, they have such a wide speed envelope that they are great to fly at any speed. (especially the delta fighters.......believe me)

He he.... Yeah Merv, that would turn heads for sure but I am not going for all that 180 mph stuff. I would be happy with a good reliable flying Delta In the 100 mph range that I can keep up too.

Wow! That's quick. My personal preference is for the foamy stuff (J10, EF200) They are in the 100-110mph range and fly very well. They are not for beginners however.
