Actually, I never thought too much about that! In trying to be a fairly good parent, I tried to raise him up properly and to be very careful about what kind of company he kept. Well, look how that has turned out Thanks a lot, youse guys for corrupting my poor little innocent boy.

Well, at least I am no longer his Pit Dog and and Mechanic/Go-Fer, like 30+ years ago.

I hope he can get to the event, he's currently learning all about the latest B-jet (Global 7000). At least I think that's what he is up to - what else could he possibly be doing in Montreal for a month? I wonder what rolling turns and waterfalls feel like in the sim box?

Yup,,, checked the calendar and no weddings planned..... Hall pass was signed off last night and just happened to be off work that weekend as well, Scheduling lady hates when I call in claiming I'm suffering from a sudden flare up of my "Rectal Glaucoma'. (Happens from time to time).

    I'm bringing my:
    U-controlled paper airplane..

Food and lodging close to KRCM

Odessa, less than 10 minutes away, has some places of potential interest to y'all -

The closest lodging is the motel at Odessa:
    http://www.wiltonroad.com
We (and even its owners!) often refer to it as the Wilton Hilton. I think it has a good reputation, and other KRCM guests have stayed there in the past.

Odessa has a nice little restaurant, the Jiffy Grill.

Odessa has a great little fast food spot, across from the high school. They make fresh subs, other sandwiches, etc. I buy stuff there often on the way to the field but I can't remember its name, or if it even has one!

I suppose there is always a chance ... or ... there is a great pizza place in downtown Napanee, called La Pizzeria, where I undestand that she worked or hung out some years ago. It even has a signed poster, as I recall. Would that suffice?
Speaking of Napanee, the Napane Fish and Chips restuarant is just a block away from 401 and it has great seafood!

    Does Ed sing?

Totally unrelated to anything mentioned above (honest):
We do have a PA system and I have a large supply of earplugs available at minimal charge.
