Yup, and there is a rumour afoot that we might even get the PortaPottie pumped out for this most auspicious occasion. Stay tuned for any future updates on this topic ...

What else could we all wish for?!

    Location Information

Attached is a map, as well as the detailed directions, in case you haven't visited our club before.

Just south of Exit 599, the Wilton and Odessa one, there is a nice little motel and a nearby gas station. In Odessa, toward the west end, there is a restaurant, a grocery store, a convenience store (they make subs, sandwiches, pizza, etc.).

If you head north at Exit 599 on your way to our field, you should see a sign pointing east to Wilton. It is only about a mile and the Wilton Cheese Factory features the best curd you are likely to encounter anywhere!

    Re: Location Information

    Breaking News!

The portapottie has been professionally prepared! (Rothschild's Sewage and Septic Sucking Services came through once again.)

Our toyground is in superb shape, golf course quality, thanks to our groundskeeping crew of Marvin and Thomas! This father and son team is a great asset to our Club. They even plan to show up on Friday morning to give the place a final trim. (We wouldn't want any of you Huckoweenies to get your wheel panties all grass stained now, would we!)

Our man Terry, Tree D pilot extraordinaire, has his chainsaw sharpened up.

Now, all we need is for the GTA to stop sending all that crap weather down this way.

Some of us can hardly wait to welcome y'all. Will we see a new national record Cluster Huck? You betcha!!!

    Re: Huckowee'en

Ive been monitoring the weather very closely. As of right now, there is a 40% chance of rain, which has gone down from 80% yesterday. I hope this weather cooperates for us. I will monitor tomorrow throughout the day and if it gets worse, i think i will need to pull the plug on it. No sense driving this far to sit around in the rain. I will post here again tomorrow at this time, to say if its a go or no-go status. Lets hope for the best.

Just leave the key for the gate somewhere. I'll be there Saturday to fly or drink or something

I find that windfinder.com is usually the most reliable forecaster, at least for this area. It has been steadily improving in its outlook for the next several days. DO NOT FEAR !

On too many past occasions, I have seen folks from "away" decide to forgo coming here due to their local weather or forecasts, when things have been great right here. Please do not adjust your sets ... or plans.

100% My friend..... "A plan is better than no plan at all". I saw some of these guys fly and they could probably fly around the rain drops (I'm not one of them)! Put little Rain Jackets on the Planes?? Hey maybe Ed can let us Party in his Camper? Are Foamies able to fly inside a camper?
