Here's how he makes a Kevlar fuel tank. This will be very useful to you.

Here's a little tip for you guys that use Rattle Cans. How often do you find the pressure dying down before the can is even empty.(usually its still half full) but then it starts to spit and spatter and sprays a very grainy finish. Well No More! lol
Just attach a line to the nozzle and fill with your air compressor. I take it up to 100psi (to afraid to go any higher )
Another tip is submerge the can(new or used) in hot water for 10 min. You won't believe how well the spray atomizes and how smooth the paint lays down . Don't use Boiling water !!!

Wow, I never thought about re pressurizing the can before! I've always done the hot water trick though.
Good tip man![]()

Just a little update guys.. I'm sorry I haven't been posting much lately. Family comes first, and my inlaws are moving in. This means my entire work shop in the basement has been moved into my workshop in the garage(yes I had two shops ) I need to work hard at finding places for everything and getting it all organized cause at the moment I can barely move sideways around everything. After that I think I will be putting my flying on hold and concentrating on the WetJet full time. I REALLY want to maiden a plane this winter!! and I want to have kits available soon after.
To those who are waiting for kit...thanks for your patience and understanding!
Trevor

So I'm seeing a pattern... I pick up part to work on... Mother in Law walks in because she needs something fixedRepeat! over and over
So I didn't like the way the foam was working out on the elevator tip so I cut it off and used Balsa this time. Much better! Now a couple coats of epoxy and I don't have to worry if I sand threw. Easier to fix than foam.
