Started on the engine nacelle today. Ill let the pictures do the talking.
Would be nice if we could add comments to each picture like RCG does. RCC Addmin?

Well here we are after about 2 hrs of sanding with 80grit. I still need to make the intake cowl
Next step is to cover it with drywall compound and sand to final shape and then glass with 6oz

Well this engine pod is a lot of work. I may think that Im in control...but really the model is dictating what to do every step of the way. Today I wanted to cut the slot in the pod to slip over the vert stab.. but then the model said I first have to fair in the Horizontal stabs. The morning was spent figuring out the thrust line and vert lines etc.. and cutting up an old horizontal stab from a deceased model that happens to be perfect for this build.
This is how its been from the beginning. I just do what the model tells me too![]()

Speaking of deceased models, what ever happened to that awesome video of your Mirage losing its wings on a high speed pass?
