I really need a break from the molds. Skinning the wing I laid up earlier. 1/16 balsa epoxied and the vacuum. This very light Balsa will add tremendous strength to the wing and not weight much at all. With this wing/plane I have to consider all the impact that the wingtips will take and transmit threw the wing.
The third pic is my Uber Vac taking up the vacuum. It cost about $25 Can.. oh yeah!![]()

For some reason I cant find the link.. but anyways its a fish tank bubbler pump sealed in a coffee can and used to vacuum out the air from a bag for resin lamination.

I pulled the skin out of the mold today.. wow she's stiff and that's only one side with no formers.

Got two more skins done today. One more then I can make the ribs and seal them up

Well I can finally see a plane in the future.
I have all the wing skins finished and I can now make the ribs.
