Calling on the ZDZ Guru !

I have recently aquired JanDavids old 33% Pilot Yak 54 Coors Light Yak Attack. All high voltage servos, ZDZ 80 RV Black head, swinging a painted Xoar 26x10 prop. Balanced on the scales, the plane weighs 22.25 LBS, with the CG set 1/2" behind the wing tube. Flew it yesterday for the first time and love, love, love this plane. Got it hovering at about 1/3 throttle, knife edge spins are tight, knife edge has Zero coupling. My question is this, I have the idle set i believe it was around 13-1400 rpm, idle up switch just slightly higher. The only way i can get this thing into a harrier is to do an elevator/ parachute. To me it seems that the slowest i can get it to harrier, it seems really quick. I feel it SHOULD be able to go slower but im doing this at what i think is just a hair above idle and it still seems really fast. So....is it the prop that is on it, is it the rpm its turning, or is it just the nature of the beast? Any and all input is appreciated...(cough cough Trevor).

Im not Trevor, Nor did i stay at a Holiday Inn express last night, but May I suggest going down to a 26/8 or 27/8 3d type prop (thinner blades) to slow it down and have the low end grunt. I use these for my style of flying and LOVE them!, I also find the plane slows down nicer for landings, etc.
