    Smoke pump and muffler. CHEAP

Just installed a RCExcel pump and Banggood smoke muffler on my Super Cub with 35 RA DLE. Total cost for everything was less than 100 bucks. Had an extra 17 ounce fuel tank laying around so I made a lite ply mount for the tank and pump that slips easily into the cab of the plane. The Smoke muffler from Banggood already has the smoke coil and pipe installed into it and the exhaust pipes are twice as long as the original muffler on the DLE . RCExcel pump is tiny and non exsistant for added weight. It runs off the receiver power so no extra batteries are needed ! This little bugger really moves smoke oil even when the speed of the pump is turned way down. Costed 49 bucks delivered and the muffler was under 25 dollars. Sullivan all fuel stopper was under 15 bucks as I recall . Cheap at twice the price. All hoses needed were included !Im using homemade smoke oil which is 60 % farm diesel fuel combined with 40% baby oil. Smokes like hell with the pump barely ticking over. Don't know about the longevity of any of this stuff yet but so far, I'm impressed!

http://m.banggood.com/RCEXL-Mini-Smo...p-1058184.html. Sorry guys for being so slow returning to your queries about my smoke pump but our internet has been stopped for two weeks ( went over our data limit again :: doh!) The above link should get you the info you want! I've gotten 6 ten minute flights ( smoke pump running at least half of the flight time ) with really no noticeable power lose on the rx battery. It is still in the green safe to fly zone after all that running smoke time. This little pump is powered directly from an open channel on the receiver! Wished I knew how to download videos on this thing so I could show you some awsum smoke in the air.

Here's a link my son provided of the quality of smoke that the RCExcel smoke pump and Banggood smoke muffler can turn out using a DLE 35 ra on my 1/4 scale H9 Super Cub! [url]https://youtu.be/B7TZhT_ONVo

Ohh yeah... No way for me to know what provider you have in your area... But I DUMPED Rogers 3 years ago and got Teksavvy. Double the data at half the cost. Just sayin

Re: Smoke pump and muffler. CHEAP

Thanx for the reply Trevor. Ya I'm very happy with this smoke setup. Seems to have a lot of hang time too when there is light wind. Can't say as I've ever heard of Teksavvy. We are on Sasktel of course out here in the Ozarks of Canada! Sasktel really knows how to charge for internet ! My wife and I are on data sharing. How's 80 bucks a month for 30 gigs a month? Sheesh!
