Count me in!

I have been working on this original turbine design for a while now and will be for a long time to come. Right now, I am stalled. I have finished an edf prototype and am waiting for the weather to allow a test flight. Once that's done, I will make appropriate modifications and start work on the turbine version.
This is an updated and modified version of my original design from the 1980's. Since I started the build thread I found the Carf "Rookie" and it is amazing how similar the plane is to my Solstice. Had it not been on the market for a while, I would have said they copied me!
Notes of a few design aspects:
Canard design allows for rear engine mounting. No need for thrust tube.
Air intake is above the wing and close to the engine to increase airflow efficiency and prevent fod ingenstion. (grass and stones)
Split rudder for airbrake has the hinge line angled back to give up elevator effect. Balanced by drooping the airlerons.

Well heck this may get me motivated to build that YAK 55 / eme 60 I've been putting off . Funny how some planes get built right away and others could sit on the table for years . might as well count me in . Will post a link as soon as I get started . cheers Roger
