Torque Pro TP 70 4 cycle

Just ordered one and will be receiving it soon , is anyone running one of these engines yet , would anyone be interested in seeing the testing of this engine or has that been covered . I can't find much information on the engine but what I have found looks good . cheers Roger

The one thing that impressed me was when he sent me the email saying he would send it today after running it , and that they run every engine before shipping . now that's a great place to start.

Yeah Joe I'm a bit of a rebel that way LOL , but what the hell must of had over a 100 engines and not a bad one yet so I'm not much worried. I am going flying Saturday ,weather pending. Still damn cold up here was snowing pretty good day before yesterday if you can believe that . I can hardly wait to do some engine magic to that little head / pocketing and smoothing the ports /blend combustion chamber , double up the valve springs. 5 angle valve job, bump that compression to a respectable 10.5:1 . wonder if TRW will make me a custom lightened piston LOL.

    Hey Roger,

Let me know when you'll be there on Saturday, I'll meet you there. Oh, custom pistons, i'm sure we can convince Wiseco or JB to come up with a dual ring version, we'll just need to send them a copy of the piston with measurements on dome height or make a custom pocketed piston to clear the valves. Grind down the back of the cams too (LOL) for to increase lift and duration. Get a nice strong running engine.

I'll be sending you a PM.. Keep an eye out.

Re: Torque Pro TP 70 4 cycle

first impressions . looks like the mother of the enya 120R LOL. seem there is some real attention to detail in the places where it counts. the prop shaft is straight and you can see it has bee ground not rolled steel. the pick up wire has rubberized casing .the prop hub is double drilled so there is 2- 4 bolt patterns. the carb seems to be a real walbro carb. the bolts used are good hardened cap head screws ,comes with 2 intake manifolds that would position the carb for different installations (looks like the manifolds are stainless steel)I was a little concerned from pictures that they were aluminum . weight is 4.4 lbs with no ignition .comes with lightweight stainless steel flex pipe . velocity stack. rcexcel ignition 6-12 volt.

a coupple more pictures to show the difference between the eme 60 and the tp 70 . there is a 1.3 lb weight difference weighing the same parts. also the engine has been run at the factory ,quite extensively by the residue in the exhaust port.
