Just putting a placeholder here, since it seem like there are lots that are using the Aura.
Please post your .afc files here with a description of how you have it hooked up, I'm sure it'll help others.
This config below is for the Yak 54
2 aileron servos
2 Elevator Servos
1 Rudder Servo
1 Throttle
1 IBEC
This config goes through a power distribution board and uses SBUS, btw, this config file will work with Futaba SBUS as well, you just have to remap and tell the Aura which channel the inputs are for Elevator, Rudder, and Aileron.
For this config, the throttle is direct to the Receiver through the Power Box, Same with the IBEC.
Receiver SBUS -> Aura8 -> Power Distribution -> Servos
Hints and tips on setting up your plane.
Use live monitoring to ensure that each channel is "Zero'd", you can either use the PWM center point on your TX or if you're using SBUS, put the jumper on S3 and use Quick Trims to Zero things out on the Aura8.
For every change made, you must click "Write all to Aura".
Sub trims on the config tool only take effect when you "Write all to Aura"
From here, you can continue with the configuration.
Please feel free to ask any questions. Attached is the preliminary file for the Aura, I'll be adding dual rates and exponential to this file and will versionize the attachments.
This version contains dual rates and expo in the configuration.

Config File uploaded... it had to be renames to .pdf, if you're going to use this file, please rename to .acf prior to opening with the config tool. This file can also be used for Futaba configs using SBUS.

Thank You!!!
Hi All,
Please feel free to upload your configs. I've since modified .acf file to include Dual Rates and Expo on a single switch, I'll add it to this thread this evening.

Ok, this is the final pre-maiden format for this plane.
After reading the instructions again, Expo from the TX is supported so is dual rates. So this version I've removed the Expo as I'm not comfortable with the way Aura handles expo, it's not easy to measure on the ground, so I took it off. I also fine tuned the tripple rates on this version to be:
Position 1: IMAC Throws / No Gyro
Position 2: More sporty semi 3d Throws w/ Gyro
Position 3: 3D Throws, max stick priority (stock), and higher gains.
This file also contains a master gain control that is assigned to a rotary switch, so I can go from Zero to Double the gains, to fine tune the flight characteristics.
In a future version of this, I'll be copying my model config and testing out the Dual / Triple rates and Expo on one switch, and Gyro Flight Modes on a separate switch, with Master Gain switch. These are all Aura Supported configs.

Okie dokie..
Carl Goldberg Super Chipmunk, typical 4 channel setup.
Throttle Bypassed
Differential Elevator Throw
Expo and Tripple Rates setup on the TX
3 Full Rate Gyro modes on the Aura 8, Off, Low, High (Channel 6)
Master Gain Switch ( Channel 8)
SBUS signal out of the X8R receiver, similar to Futaba. Can be used for Futaba, just need to change the channel to control mapping
Feel free to ask questions.
Gyro Orientation: Inverted, with LED towards the rear.

I don't have any files that are dialled enough to share yet. But just for reference and a starting point, I have been getting oscillation on my 91" 3DHS Yak 55 with both the stock medium and high gains on high rates. I've lowered the gains but haven't had a chance to test it yet. It wasn't tear the plane apart terrible but very noticeable.

A great source of info here Joe! Thanks soo much.
I'll soon be playing with an Aura8 for the first time in Ed's 60cc Vertigo2M and will be using his 18MZ with R7008rx. Greatly appreciated.
