Scott, I like the fact that it's canister ready and the hatch tabs are very simple, yet effective...makes you wonder why this method isn't used more often.

Keep at it man...you'll be rippin' that thing before you know it!!!

BTW...the plane stands is very cool...never seen that before.

Well the Akula Class one had an AWESOME 3w110CS on RE2 pipes but that engine/exhaust is on the bottom of the Soo River or might have made it into Lake Huron. I was in the Classic first Wht/Red/Blu/Yel colour scheme.

The replacement is in the Red/Blk/Silver scheme, which I like less and will have a DA100L in it probably on Pro-RC Hype Cans or MTW75H rear dump, not sure yet.

OK I see the 90" is in your Avitar. I'mm just finishing putting together a EF 60" Yak on 6S setup. This will ne my 8th or 9th EF Yak 54. I bought one of the first 68" when they came out and one of his first 50cc versions which I got in ALL White and did my own scheme.

But we are hi-jacking Scott's PAU thread so we'll leave it at that. LPL!

    Scott,

Sorry don't have any blingy 3.5" wheels but you can get the Flyzone in 3.5" from Lorne.

My 4" are still available for the Baby Vertigo if you want.

Hey you should show that plane stand in the RC Guys 150 build thread. Grosbeak may want one!

Wish they would have put a hatch in the motor box makes throttle linkages easier.
I use the 4" fly wheels on a few planes. I like them the smaller ones can't take a beating but the bigger ones sure can.

Yeah Dave! This is a sweet plane, has some nice touches to her! Can't wait to get her airborne!

    I'm on it Jim!

We will find out what mods/holes on the motorbox top will be needed soon Brodie. I feel the same way, but it's an easy fix if needed tho!

Re: PAU Extra 300SP / EME60 on a Hype Can - Assembly Thread

Had to complete the assembly of the wings and elevators, and in the process became a HUGE FAN of this control horn type!
(that being said the thru hole in the hard point is already done for you, so kinda easy then...no worries with things lining up)

The control surface horn has a small nylok insert in the fitting, and the cone nut gets installed with loc-tite.

The "bottoming out before reaching full travel" can be fixed in the final setup easily enough.

Stabs (shown) and wings assembly is complete.

It's a good thing this plane will be flying 3D, otherwise Jim would be commenting on the geometry of the pushrods and control linkages eh!... LOL!!

(BTW.. comments open on that subject..as well as any other item and issue for that matter)

moving on to more fuse tmrw....

Those linkages look good Scott. Geometry looks bang on also.. pivot right above hinge line.
