Awesome Scott! The EME 60 is going to work well in this plane and give awesome performance. Cool colour scheme and nice overall look.
If you still need wheels, I recently bought some Flywheelz 8 spoke wheels from Pro-RC. They look great but certainly won't be as light as the stock wheels lol. http://www.pro-rc.ca/new-flywheelz-8...uminum-wheels/

The wheels appear to be a foam wheel with a rubber coating..similar to what the H9 Pro-Lite wheels are if you have any experience with them. This is fine for grass runways, but if you do fly off a paved runway, the rubber tread wears quickly and you can see the foam underneath (see photos of a brand new tire compared to the ones on my Yak). This doesn't bother me and I still like the wheel.
Now, the new Flywheelz advertise a more "durable rubber"...not sure exactly what that means but I will test them out on my Edge 540 and compare to the older wheels.

Dave,
Not to worry.
Which EF Yak do you have?
Had a 110" but it thought it was an Akula class sub. Replaced it with another but now they don't make them anymore. :-(

Right on!! Thx for all the ideas and support Guys!!
The wheels included are 3.5", so do you have any more of those Jim? I think the 4 inchers are the ones i installed on the 46Av Carden Edge eh?
Cory, I ordered directly from PAU and shipped to Lewiston UPS store. Then had UPS Store Oakville pick them up thru their service! Saves a bunch of time and some cash as well!
It's a sweet option!

I got the fuse into the basement and loaded onto a Terrys Custom plane stand..
A few pics of the fuse:
Built nice and light with a can tunnel, you can see lots of little places where weight was saved, and still looks very functional and joints are strong.
I will probably put a fillet of Hysol around the wing tube phenolic. I will take a look at the gear attachment points as our field here is pretty bumpy, and even worse when the ground is frozen.....![]()
Thinking of adding some oak rails ALA Carden.
The hatch tabs are flat (part of the hatch lower frame) and flush ....hopefully less wear in F2 than the round dowel style, and less hangar rash with the cowl.
I really like this scheme, and loving this stand!![]()
