It is a very fun plane to fly...you can fly it scale, do 3D, or just have fun doing super slow, super short touch and goes! That reminds me that I don't fly it as much as I should...

I've never worked with gel coat. Does it add to the structure like epoxy would?

I tried both. I have some cool muffs with o-ring seals and an MTW 2into1 with large hype can.

Might leave the grass on the cowl, adds a little something!

Thanks guys. If it were more convenient to get a new fuse I would have just done that. There was so much good left I just couldn't imagine scrapping it.

Next big test will be fitting the wings on....

Last major glue job curing. Will add some Hysol fillets in various places next, then do a little something about the cosmetics and the fuse is ready.

Not sure what I'll do with the cowl...may just...
