    Re: Thrust tube question.

A quick guess is about 500mm. I can measure the plane to be more accurate. Does the length make a difference to required I.D. ?

    Re: Thrust tube question.

Maybe someone with a jet using 100N turbine could measure your pipe.

    Thrust tube question.

What should the inside diameter of a thrust tube be for 100N turbine? How about 120N? Is there a formula relating thrust to I.D.?

    Re: Refueling problem solved!

It is a simple brushed motor so should run in reverse. However, I only have an ON/OFF switch installed.
If it's really important for you, I will try connect reverse battery and report back.

I have come to the realization that one jet is not enough. Solstice is a long way off so it's on the back burner while I throw something together. The intent is to have it flying for spring. I...

    Re: Refueling problem solved!

Thanks Peter, I understand your concern. However, what would I ground? Fuel lines, UAT, tank, everything the fuel comes in contact with is non-conductive.

    Re: Refueling problem solved!

Refueled 4 times at the fun fly today and the pump is great. It is barely working and fills up the larger tank in 1/4 time as compared to Sullivan.

    Re: Refueling problem solved!

It is a brass gear pump OK to use with diesel, so I don't see a problem using gas.

    Re: Refueling problem solved!

I am using it for jet fuel. (kerosene) Should work fine for gas.

One thing I should mention: The fittings that come with it are for 1/2" hose. I found replacements for 3/16 hose at Low's.
