    Finishing up the tail! I got the rudder and elevators hinged! Im using dubro HD hinges and .047 music wire!

    Next I glued down the nub strips that are between the fuse and turtle deck. These strips lock the CF fuse stringers in place and gave the turtle deck a good surface to glue to.

    So, in these pics I get the fin glued down. I used a large framing square to make sure it was straight and hysol to attach!

    Now that the incidence on the stabs is set, I cut out the elevators and glued on le/te stock. I also got the rudder/fin cut apart. Last step was the glue on the 1/8 cross grain balsa to the fuse. ...

    Next up is sheeting! I got the sheeting edge glued and sanded to 400. Im using gorilla glue on the skins. Put both cores under lots of weight!.... and tada!... both stabs came out...

    I got the sheeting laminated, sanded to 400 and the first stab sheeted and trimmed! See how the glue filled in around the CG strips?!?!... pretty awesome.

    Sweet! I got the servo bays cutout and the CF strips installed on top and bottom. Next Ill laminate the sheeting and get these stabs done!

    I also got the vertical stab/fin sheeting and trimmed. I used gorilla glue for this job! Super strong stuff!!!

    Im using a 3M water based contact adhesive for turtle decks and hatch. Heres the process:

    Apply 1 coat via roller to each surface. Lets dry for 30 minutes

    Ok, I got the sheeting glued together for the rudder/fin, the top rear deck, the lower deck and the hatch. Now Ill sand them all and get them attached to foam!

    For glueing, heres the technique I use:

    1. Tape all the sheets together. Make seams tight!!!
    2. Open up the seam and apply small bead of glue. (I used Titebond II)
